The Writing and Publishing Center of Roosevelt High School has recently released its latest book titled: No Box Can Hold (A Modern Study of Identity and Self-Discovery.) Partnering with Ooligan Press of Portland State University (PSU), and Portland’s own publishing Godfather, Dennis Stovall – a summer intern adviser, these enterprising Roosevelt students gathered submissions from professional authors, community members, and students, which they compiled into a spectacular book. “Students practiced and learned skills in writing, editing, revising, marketing, and design. And the lessons learned will stay with them through high-school and into college and their names are immortalized in the pages of this book.” (About the Book, Page V)
I had the good fortune to be one of the professional authors included in this publication.
